Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Lucky Milagros is a Chicago-based restaurant group with three stalls in The Sterling Food Hall including Los Milagros, Lucky Cross, and Harry’s Hamburgs & Wings, as well as the now closed Dos Urban Cantina.

  • I began my work with the company in 2020 at Dos Urban Cantina. There, I elevated brand perception with the creation of a brand book and content decks, setting up business owners to use my content strategy as a guide to improve social media presence and visual identity.

  • In 2021 the company underwent massive restructuring by transitioning to a food hall space. This led to the creation of three entirely new brands, and closing the Dos Urban Cantina restaurant. I stayed in contact with the owners and was hired and relocated to Chicago in October 2024.

    • In May 2024, Lucky Milagros launched Harry’s Hamburgs & Wings, and I worked as lead brand designer, crafting the brand book, color palette, menu design, and signage.

    • In October 2024, I relocated to Chicago to become the full-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator, where I developed an integrated marketing and social media campaign spanning multiple platforms. This included third-party services such as DoorDash, Postmates, ClassPass, and TasteAgent, along with social channels like Instagram and Google Business pages.

  • The Williams Agency is a boutique firm specializing in community-centric marketing around New England. With a focus on the production of local events, The Williams Agency promotes sustainability, food, culture and the arts.

  • As a Marketing and Events Planning Intern, I worked on the events team focusing on the production of the 10th annual Boston JerkFest. I served as the point of contact for vendors and sponsors in the coordination of permits, contracts, and media promotion. Additionally, generated 50 pieces of original content for social media platforms and four bi-monthly newsletters.

  • This experience not only allowed me to forge meaningful connections with vendors and sponsors but also deepened my understanding of community-centric marketing strategies and grassroots approaches.

  • HowlRound Theatre Commons is an open platform for theater makers that amplifies progressive, disruptive ideas about the art form and facilitates connection between diverse practitioners via the production of its online journal, live streams, convening, and residency programs around the globe.

  • I began my time at HowlRound as Social Media Assistant curating and scheduling daily content across diverse social media platforms to promote new publishings.

  • A year or so in, I expressed my interest in the analytical side of social media marketing and assisted in researching KPIs including consumer insights, competitive marketplace assessments, data analysis, and dashboards for the curation of a long-term social media campaign.
